{"id":339,"date":"2012-01-17T17:41:57","date_gmt":"2012-01-17T21:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/smith\/?p=339"},"modified":"2012-01-17T17:41:57","modified_gmt":"2012-01-17T21:41:57","slug":"2nd-week-of-january-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/smith\/?p=339","title":{"rendered":"2nd Week of January 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been an exciting week here in Gemena, DR Congo as we join our Congo Covenant Church in preparation for their Annual Meeting and election of a new Church President (Jan. 12-22).\u00a0 Several hundred of us are gathering at INERA Bongabo, about a 3 hour drive outside of Karawa.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been great to see old friends\/delegates as they pass through Gemena on their way to the meeting site.\u00a0 Rev. Curt Peterson and Debbie Blue are coming from HQ in Chicago as well.<\/p>\n<p>Our missionary team are going a day early to help with set up.
