The Winnetka Covenant Church provided an unexpected blessing for Gary and for Julio and Katie Isaza this past weekend.\u00a0 Gary was going to be in the Chicago area for Covenant World Relief meetings and asked Pastor Peter Hawkinson if it would be possible to have a chance to share at Winnetka Covenant, bringing an \u201cupdate\u201d of the ministry that the Winnetka Covenant Church is a partner in with Gary and Mary Lou in Colombia.\u00a0 Julio and Katie Isaza are Project Missionaries headed to Colombia in January of 2012 to work in Church Planting and Leadership Development.\u00a0 Winnetka Covenant recently made a commitment to be a partner with Julio and Katie and so Pastor Peter put the three of them, Gary, Julio and Katie in the message time slot in the morning worship services at Winnetka Covenant last Sunday\u2014a tag team sermon, witness and sharing time.\u00a0 What a blessing to give witness to how God is bringing together Julio and Katie (Julio and Mary Lou and Gary first met 16 years ago in Bogota, Colombia) with the Covenant of Colombia vision for planting churches and equipping leaders and the Covenant Mission in Colombia\u2019s partnership in this vision, especially to include the youth generation in this vision.\u00a0 It was a blessing for Gary to be able to give witness to God\u2019s powerful movement of bringing the right people together at the right time in the right place to join him in extending his kingdom.<\/p>\n
