Internment will be on Monday at Bethesda Covenant\u00a0 Church in Rockford, where the 98-year-old Anderson was a longtime\u00a0 parishioner. Don Njaa will officiate at Monday&#8217;s service.<\/p>\n<div>Shortly after her husband died, Anderson assumed the office of executive\u00a0 director of CWM on February 1, 1967, beginning a five-year term,\u00a0 according to CWM Executive Minister Ruth Hill. According to records from <em>Covenant Women Heritage: 1916-1980,<\/em> &#8220;she had chaired Survey\u00a0 Committee, understood its provisions and the implementations necessary\u00a0 to make the changes that significantly restructured the organization.\u00a0 She established the national office, wrote the handbook for local\u00a0 organizations and generally led Covenant Women in Unified Plan of\u00a0 structure.
