Northwest Conference Supt. Jim Fretheim\u00a0 preached at both worship services.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div>Previous pastors Alan Holte and Norm Barram attended the November 30\u00a0 event for 280 as guests, said Andrew Burnett, who is co-pastor along\u00a0 with his wife Dawn. Diana Wymore and Kyle Small were other former staff\u00a0 ministers at the dedication.<\/p>\n<div>This is the third location for Prairie Hills, originally organized as\u00a0 First Covenant Church in 1948. The church had recently shared space with\u00a0 a local Baptist congregation that has bought Prairie Hills&#8217; existing\u00a0 facility. The new building includes a sanctuary that seats around 300\u00a0 people and classroom space, along with a fellowship hall and a large\u00a0 narthex.<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;It&#8217;s great to see God at work through His people,&#8221; said Andrew Burnett.\u00a0 &#8220;Relocating a church is not easy. But our congregation has been\u00a0 energized by the mission possibilities of a larger facility and more\u00a0 visible location. And the response we&#8217;ve already seen from the community\u00a0 validates this step of faith.<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;People have stepped up in amazing ways, through financial support,\u00a0 in-kind gifts, and volunteering with enthusiasm for the dozens of tasks\u00a0 &#8211; big and small &#8211; required to make this move a reality,&#8221; Burnett continued.<\/p>\n<div>Prairie Hills Covenant Church is located on a major highway that will be\u00a0 used extensively through Sioux Falls, a city of more than 130,000.
