CROMWELL, CT (July 23, 2009) \u2013 The East Coast Conference<\/a> of the Evangelical Covenant Church has begun its search process for a new associate superintendent, whose primary responsibility will be to serve as director of church planting and congregational vitality.

\nPeter Sung currently holds the position, but was appointed the new director of church planting in the denomination\u2019s Department of Church Growth and Evangelism earlier this month. He will assume his new duties August 1. Click here<\/a> to read more.<\/p>\n

Recommendations and inquiries for the position are welcome and should be emailed to conference Superintendent Howard K. Burgoyne<\/a>. The deadline for recommendations is September 21, 2009.<\/p>\n

The conference currently is comprised of 76 churches and church plants.<\/p>\n
