He remains hospitalized at Swedish Covenant Hospital.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Sandberg noted that following his surgery, Tepke left a voice mail at  the office saying, &#8220;I am alive and kicking, and I will call you back later.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tepke is one of three people who have helped manage daily business  activities at the university during the school&#8217;s presidential search,  which concluded recently with the nomination of a candidate for  presentation at the Evangelical Covenant Church annual meeting in June.<\/p>\n<p>Those wanting to send cards may address them to Tepke in care of North  Park University, 3225 W.
