CHICAGO, IL (July 25, 2006) – The recently concluded CHIC 2006 on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville generated a considerable number of reader responses, many of which were included in last Friday\u2019s online Readers Share feature. To read a particular story of interest, click on the headline.<\/p>\n Zack Doing Well Following Cancer Surgery<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Pastor Rich Moore<\/em> of Sloan, IA, writes: When the three girls from our church who attended CHIC stood in church on Sunday, they said one of the highlights for them was Zack appearing with his youth group on stage. All three girls accepted Christ this past week and have committed to walk with God at home and at school. They were thrilled to hear of Zack’s progress. Please keep us up to date. My girls want to know how to pray for Zack! Thanks to the organizers that arranged his trip. It touched all in attendance.<\/p>\n Lillie Makes It to CHIC \u2013 Finally!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Mary Ellenberger<\/em> of Kingburg, CA, writes: I was the first person who went to Lillie for prayer Tuesday night. I ran down the stairs, knowing that the Lord needed to heal my emotional pain. I saw Lillie on the stairs and asked her if she was a part of the prayer team. She said yes, and when I started crying as I tried to explain my situation, she gently pulled me aside to a quiet corner and let me explain everything.<\/p>\n Stan Johnson<\/em> of San Jose, CA, writes: It was so good to hear about Lillie Harrison. We are so happy she was at CHIC with our grandchildren, Corrie and Carmen. We had lost contact since Lillie left San Jose. God Bless you. Congratulations on your first CHIC experience!<\/p>\n Ministry Seeks to Help Boys Transition into Manhood<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Chaplain Raymond Wade<\/em> of Parkton, NC, writes: May God bless you in this endeavor.<\/p>\n Spanish-Version Stories Reflect Change in Covenant<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Daniela Flores<\/em> of Chicago, IL, writes: Thank you for the information that you post in Spanish. My daughter had the opportunity to go to CHIC 2006 and she came home with wonderful experiences, also having further developed her social skills. It was a blessing for the entire family.<\/p>\n ‘No Ordinary Day’ for Surprise Guest at CHIC<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Katie<\/em> of Iron River, MI, writes: CHIC 2006 was the most amazing experience of my entire life. It was such an awe-striking event that couldn’t have got any better with Zack arriving there to join us. I am his girlfriend, and it was such a gift and blessing to be able to see him and share the amazing CHIC experience with him.<\/p>\n CHIC: Youth Pack Food, Donate to Sudanese<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Thelma Lawson<\/em> of Joliet, IL, writes: I had the awesome privilege to witness the love of God in this great experience. I was really struggling with the teen ministry at my church, but God renewed my faith and hope for our youth. He let me know without a doubt He’s still in charge. I truly thank our lord and savior Jesus Christ for blessing me through our teens. It was an amazing experience. I was moved by the messages and I realize that there is going to be a DVD released to those who ordered it. I want to know if the messages are going to be on the DVD. I recommitted my life to God because of them and I want to show my family what I saw at CHIC. It really was a life-changing experience for me.<\/p>\n CHIC 2006 Information Now Online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Zoe Duncan<\/em> of Martinez, CA, writes: I went to CHIC and this story is very true. This conference does attract a lot of students. I thought that the coolest part to CHIC was all the students there from all over the nation. It was a great experience. Also they start registration so far away from the date that CHIC actually is so the students that going are very dedicated to go. I think that this story is very true.
