MANDA ISLAND, KENYA (September 7, 2006) – There is a beauty and grace that abounds in areas of Kenya, including fairly remote areas not far from where five pastors were licensed in August by the Evangelical Covenant Church of Kenya. \"\"<\/a><\/td>\nOne will not find diesel end loaders here – the donkey is the main mode of commercial transportation. And a practical means at that, given the narrow streets in the villages with limited room to maneuver.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
As remote as Manda Island may seem, it is difficult to avoid the clash of the ancient culture with the modern age of technology. This is the Manda Island version of the movie theater, complete with stone and mud, thatched roof, and yes, the satellite dish!<\/td>\n\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
