The membership steadily declined to about twelve members two years ago, and the church decided to close.<\/p>\n<p><em>Iglesia Evangelica Del Pacto El Redentor<\/em>, Indianapolis, Indiana\u2014The church joined the Covenant in 2003 but has decided they no longer wanted to be a part of a denomination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>East Coast Conference <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Bethesda Covenant Church<\/em>, New York, New York\u2014Bethesda Covenant Church was founded March 5, 1879 with 29 members and was the earliest \u201cMission Friends\u201d congregation in the East. It had suffered gradual decline in membership. It is being honored this year as a \u201cLiving Legacy\u201d congregation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Midwest Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>First Evangelical Covenant Church<\/em> (DBA New Beginnings Covenant Church), Denver, Colorado\u2014Formed in 1898, First Covenant is the \u201cmother church\u201d of the Denver area, having spawned the planting of numerous churches on the Front Range. The Midwest Conference and church leadership have spent the last 10 years seeking to bring renewal and revitalization to this ministry. The church is being honored this year as a \u201cLiving Legacy\u201d congregation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Northwest Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Bethel Mission Covenant Church<\/em>, Roseau, Minnesota\u2014The church was founded in 1942 and has 11 members.
