ROCHESTER, NY (November 2, 2006) \u2013 Moving and putting up sets for a local play as well as working the parking lots for the drama are acts of justice, says Brian Haak, pastor of Artisan Covenant Church.

\nThe play is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat<\/em>, and it is being performed by Actors Unlimited, a local company whose actors are all people with special needs. Most of the actors have mental handicaps and many have physical disabilities as well, Haak says.<\/p>\n

The pastor says helping the group is an act of justice because it gives the actors an opportunity to perform. \u201cCompassion is putting on the show for them,\u201d he explains. \u201cJustice is them getting to be the actors and do the drama and be a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a part of society that\u2019s often told you\u2019re not good enough or talented enough,\u201d Haak says. He adds, however, that the actors are quite talented. \u201cThey\u2019re pretty amazing actors, phenomenal actors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The local group has been performing five years and has put on productions that also have included Grease, Little Shop of Horrors<\/em>, and Beauty and the Beast.<\/em><\/p>\n
