ROCHESTER, MN (April 11, 2007) \u2013 Is your church in need of a seasoned pulpit and baptismal font?

\n\"Pulpit\"\"Font\"Rochester Covenant Church has what you need and is interested in donating these items for a worthy purpose (see accompanying photos).<\/p>\n

The pulpit is constructed of oak with a fruitwood-type stain finish, says Rosella Kvernen, speaking on behalf of the church. \u201cIts symbolism depicts massive hands holding up the Word of God,\u201d she notes.<\/p>\n

The baptismal font has a lighter-color stained base and top and wrought iron legs.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth items are free if you will pick them up,\u201d Kvernen says. Interested churches should call 507-289-2990 no later than April 30 \u2013 after that time, other plans will be made for disposition of the items.<\/p>\n
