CHICAGO, IL (March 21, 2007) \u2013 A Covenant News Service story on the Lenten artwork at First Covenant Church<\/a> in Portland, Oregon, has inspired people from across the denomination to tell us of the projects in their own congregations.

\nIn response, we are planning a story on the ways Evangelical Covenant churches of all sizes are using paintings, tapestries and similar media to enhance worship during Lent. The story will include an \u201conline gallery\u201d that we hope will inspire others to experience the gospel more deeply and promote even more creativity as part of our shared ministry.<\/p>\n

If you would like your church\u2019s artwork posted online as part of the story, please email one or two pictures along with a paragraph description of how the art is being used.
