CROMWELL, CT (December 15, 2008) – A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday (December 16) for Elizabeth (Rogers) Pollock, 87, widow of Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Wallace S. Pollock. She died Friday.

\nThe service will be held at the Covenant Congregational Church in North Easton, Massachusetts. Pastor Johnny Agurkis will officiate and Thomas Nelson, pastor of Cape Cod Covenant Church in Brewster, will preach. Interment will be prior to the service at 11:30 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.<\/p>\n
Pollock was born October 11, 1921, in what was then known as Belgian Congo, Africa. She served with her husband at the Glen Ellyn Covenant Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, from 1948-1965, and what is now the Community Covenant Church in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, from 1966 until his death.<\/p>\n
