Must apply as a short-term missionary with ECC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsible to<\/strong>: Dale Lusk, Merge Ministries<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong>:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good communication skills (written and oral) and good interpersonal skills<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0At least 21 years of age<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0A bachelor\u2019s degree is preferred, but not required<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Familiarity with the latest technology, especially in areas of Internet access, email and cell telephone communications<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Good administrative and organizational skills<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Some travel is required<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Must have a good understanding of Alaskan and Native culture<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong>: Organize mission trips for Covenant Mission Connection to various ministry sites within the Alaskan geographical area, including:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before a mission trip<\/strong>:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Communication with the mission team leader concerning transportation and ministry options<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Make transportation reservations for team upon arrival to ministry area<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Organizing housing for team<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Send photos of ministry site to team<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Send training manuals to team<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Answer all questions \u2013 secure needed information to answer questions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Train the team at their home church<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Create mission trip schedule with team<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Organize special Create and maintain training manuals for mission teams and hosts<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Recruit staff as needed for mission trip; supervision and training for all staff<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supervise finances for mission trips; work with executive director to develop budget and fees for teams; report all expenses<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Attend three
