BROOKLINE, MA (July 24, 2008) – Highrock Covenant Church – Brookline<\/a> will officially launch on August 3. Services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Devotion Elementary School in the Coolidge Corner area of Brookline.

\nFull-time staff members are Joshua Throneburg, lead pastor; Dan Lee, associate pastor; and Yumiko Nakagawa, welcoming ministry.<\/p>\n

The new church is a plant of Highrock Covenant Church – Arlington<\/a>. More than 40 members of that congregation are part of the Brookline launch team.<\/p>\n

Brookline is the second congregation planted by the Arlington church, which previously started Queenswest Church<\/a> in Long Island, New York.<\/p>\n

Horner Begins New Post in Greece<\/strong><\/p>\n

Covenanter Named Bethel Dean of Campus Ministries<\/strong><\/p>\n

ST. PAUL, MN (July 24, 2008) – Laurel Bunker, a member of Compass Covenant Church, has been named the new dean of campus ministries for Bethel University’s College of Arts & Sciences.<\/p>\n

Bunker will assume her new duties in early August. She currently is the director of program operations for the Jeremiah Program in the Twin Cities. The program provides housing and services to single mothers and their children.<\/p>\n
