CHICAGO, IL (June 30, 2008) \u2013 Now that the 123rd Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church has ended, all of the news stories have been moved from the daily news report on the home page to the special news section<\/a> available by visiting the 2008 Annual Meeting link on the home page.

\n\u201cThis year\u2019s news coverage includes one of the more robust collection of news stories, photographs, videos and related material since we began daily news coverage of annual meetings nearly a decade ago,\u201d says Don Meyer, executive minister of the Department of Communication.<\/p>\n

\"Tent\"There were five live broadcasts of worship services this year, including three evening and two morning sessions. The live broadcast (via the Covenant website) of the Thursday evening ordination service set a record in terms of the number of individual connections to the broadcast, Meyer notes. Videos of each service can be found in the special Annual Meeting news section for downloading and viewing.<\/p>\n
