SEATTLE, WA (May 16, 2008) \u2013 Seattle Pacific University recently named Caenisha Warren, a member of Quest Covenant Church, as its Non-Exempt Staff Member of the Year. Warren is an administrative assistant in the school\u2019s John Perkins Center.

\n\"Warren\"Her interest in justice and reconciliation ministries has led her to serve on several ministries of the Northwest Pacific Conference<\/a> (NPC) of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She is a member of the NPC Cross Cultural Ministry and Mission Commission, served on the steering committee for Journey to Mosaic-North Pacific, and is on the Feet To Faith planning team.<\/p>\n

Warren was unable to attend the school\u2019s awards ceremony – she was attending a conference in Chicago on the topic of reconciliation.

\nNorth Park Senior Wins Academic Honors<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO, IL – North Park University baseball senior Brady Josephson earned Academic All-District 5 honors for the 2008 season. He was awarded Second Team honors by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).<\/p>\n

Josephson, the son of Neil and Sharol Josephson, is from Strathmore, Alberta, where he attended Hope Community Covenant Church. He had an undergraduate grade point average of 3.82. Currently pursuing his MBA, he earned a graduate GPA of 3.95.<\/p>\n

Josephson was fifth on the Vikings in batting with a .369 average. He connected for 38 hits, including five doubles, a triple and one home run. He was named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week in March.<\/p>\n

Nominees must be a starter or important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials. They also must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.0 scale) in both undergraduate and graduate work.

LINDSBORG, KS – Bicyclists raising money on a cross-country ride for a global health organization made an unexpected \"Bikers\"stop at the Lindsborg Covenant Church<\/a> in Lindsborg, Kansas, when a thunderstorm forced the rain-drenched team to seek shelter.
