CHICAGO, IL (May 5, 2008) – Covenant Trust Company is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of financial services representative in the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

\nThe financial services representative is the primary contact with clients and prospects and functions both as a marketing representative and account field representative. This full-time position includes significant travel. The representative initiates and maintain contacts with prospects, build continuing relationships with clients and the leadership of Covenant ministries within the assigned geographical territory.<\/p>\n

This individual:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provides estate and financial planning resources by assisting with information gathering and situation analysis, by providing information about charitable opportunities, by suggesting options based on prospects\u2019 stated goals, and by expediting the implementation of decisions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Presents workshops on financial services, including estate and financial planning, and responds to inquiries
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintains regular contact with all known prospects and clients in the assigned area
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Establishes and maintains regular contact with the conference superintendent, pastors and leaders of other Covenant ministries, and regularly visits Covenant Retirement Communities campuses
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Represents Covenant Trust Company at conference annual meetings, the ministerium, and ministry leadership boards as invited<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will possess uncompromising personal integrity and ethics, the ability to maintain complete confidentiality and build relationships based on trust, excellent interpersonal, listening and communications skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n

Requirements include a strong desire to share the vision of \u201cawakening people to the significance of stewardship through estate planning and financial management\u201d, familiarity with the Evangelical Covenant Church and its ministries, sales skills and\/or experience, and at least mid-level computer skills. Training and continuing education in estate and financial planning matters will be provided.<\/p>\n
