Anderson, who is majoring in finance, was honored for overall excellence at NPU. He has been the co-editor of HandsOn Magazine, a publication of University Ministries at North Park, and has volunteered for the department, helping to lead various events, including a trip to Guatemala.
A tutor in economics, finance, and Swedish, Anderson also worked at Covenant Harbor Bible Camp in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for three summers during his college career.
The Student Laureate Medallion is given each year (along with $150 honorarium) to one member from the senior class of each four-year, degree-granting institution of higher learning in Illinois. North Park was among 49 colleges and universities participating in this year’s program.
