She died Tuesday in Chesterton, Indiana.
Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, 1070 West Fremont Street. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg.
Ahlberg was born February 10, 1921, in Humboldt, Iowa. She attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Minot College in Minot, North Dakota.
She married G. Harold Ahlberg on June 16, 1945, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The couple ministered in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2007.
Ahlberg is survived by three sons: David Ahlberg of DuBois, Pennsylvania; James Ahlberg of Rochelle, Illinois, and Jonathan Ahlberg of Perrysburg, Ohio; a daughter, Natalie Firestone of Porter, Indiana; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
