ASHEBORO, NC (September 6, 2006) – Central Carolina Community Covenant Church in Asheboro, North Carolina, recently received the “Readers Choice Award” for Randolph County as the “Favorite Church,” and Pastor Ed Arroyo received the award for “Favorite Pastor” in the county.
Area residents filled out fliers and returned them to The Courier-Tribune, the community’s newspaper. Results were listed in August in a special section that included a variety of awards ranging from best plumber to best restaurant. The paper presented the church and Arroyo with plaques.

Central Community was organized in 2002 and averages 500 in attendance.
