CHICAGO, IL (August 6, 2007) – The untimely death of John Marks, pastor of Trinity Covenant Church in Livingston, New Jersey, clearly caught the attention of online Covenant news readers during the month of July as two stories related to his death and the memorial service led July’s list of most-read stories.

Another story that attracted considerable attention was the announcement by Glenn R. Palmberg of his plan to retire at the end of August next year. That story also drew the largest number of reader comments published in the online Readers Share feature.

And, although the June Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, may seem like old news  after several weeks have passed, those online news stories continue to draw hundreds of readers – collectively totaling in the thousands at this point – making that collection of news accounts number 10 in the monthly ranking.
