This kind of feedback is very helpful to our Covenant News Service staff as we seek to identify and publish stories of great interest to a broad spectrum of online readers of this report.

Alaskan Covenanters Prepare for Volcanic Eruption

Services Pending for Jean Lambert
Ineke Van Noorel of Casper, WY, writes: Many years ago, I met Jean in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I was living at the time, and she was taking a course at the university. I took her to the World Council of Churches’ graduate school (Bossey, Celigny where I had worked myself for a time) for a visit and we were friends for many years. She came to visit me in Wyoming around 1981 and after that I lost touch with her. I recognized her face from the picture and I am so sorry she is no longer here, but rejoice that she is with her Lord and Savior now. I would appreciate it if you could email me some more photos of her.

Memorial Services Set for Prof. John S. Bray
Margaret Lynch of San Francisco, CA, writes: I found this obit while doing a search. I knew John at FSU where I was an undergrad. I will always remember him for his teaching, friendship and being such a great fellow. So sorry we didn’t reconnect before he died. And to think he was in the Bay area (I have been here since 1969). I have been on the faculty of SFSU for more than 25 years – psychology. If you can convey my thoughts to his wife or children, that would be great.
