BARILOCHE, ARGENTINA (August 4, 2008) – Fire destroyed the Evangelical Covenant Church of Bariloche on Friday, Covenant News Service has learned.
No one in the congregation of 150 was injured, but the congregation lost the building, furniture, sound equipment and all of its musical instruments in the blaze, according to Elias Piñeyro, president of the Argentina Evangelical Covenant Church. The leaders of the Bariloche congregation are Carlos and Olga Parada.
