CHICAGO, IL (November 19, 2009) – A new online giving tool has been added to the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) website, streamlining and simplifying the process of making donations online using a variety of payment methods.
A special banner on the website’s home page – “Make a World of Difference” – provides a direct link to the new online giving site. A permanent giving link is located to the right in the gray navigation bar at the top of the home page. The new giving tool accommodates gifts using debit and credit cards, online checks (ACH) and the popular PayPal system.

The new system, when fully implemented to include a wide range of potential projects, will eventually replace the somewhat cumbersome “work-around” solution developed a few years ago that utilizes the online Covenant Bookstore’s system to make donations – a system never designed for that particular application.
All online donations will be separately acknowledged for income tax purposes.
