SPRING VALLEY, CA (October 26, 2007) – Residents of the skilled nursing and assisted living units at Mount Miguel Covenant Village began returning to the Covenant Retirement Community today, after being evacuated Monday night due to the threat posed by wildfires in the area. The residents had been transported to various facilities throughout the San Diego area.
Other residents returned to Mount Miguel on Thursday. Officials say the retirement community suffered no damage.
