CHICAGO, IL (October 18, 2007) – Christmas cards to benefit the Paul Carlson Partnership’s development and compassion work in Congo are now available for purchase through the online Covenant Bookstore.
The cards are based on designs by Congolese artists. “The Christmas cards celebrate the work of Christ and help us to recognize our sisters and brothers around the world,” says Jim Sundholm, Paul Carlson Partnership director.
A 12-card variety pack containing each of the three card designs – originally published in 2004, 2005 and 2006 – is available at a cost of $8.99. Individual 10-card packs of each design is available at a cost of $6.99.
The Paul Carlson Partnership honors the life and spirit of Evangelical Covenant Church medical missionary Paul E. Carlson, who served the people of northwest Congo and was killed by rebel soldiers in November 1964.
