CHICAGO, IL (September 25, 2007) – Materials are available for Evangelical Covenant churches to use as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Sunday on October 7.
The resources can be downloaded from CovChurch.org/abuse. They include litanies and prayers for worship services, study materials, general information, and suggestions on how churches can respond to abusers and victims.
Domestic violence is the single most common injury to women, with one in four having been abused. Each year, 10 million children are exposed to domestic abuse.
