LORDS VALLEY, PA (August 31, 2007) – It was the gift some only dream about for 80-year-old Helen Coffin who bailed from an airplane at 9,000 feet for her first-ever skydiving thrill. Flirting with danger is nothing new for this woman who has experienced a range of adventures, from the Olympic bobsled run at Lake Placid to cycling down a volcano in Hawaii. Here are two additional photos from her experience.

It’s a thumbs up from Helen Coffin and her instructor, Simeon of Kent, as she prepares to bail out of the airplane at 9,000 feet.
Everyone loves a happy – and safe – landing. The smile says it all for Helen, who says she can’t wait to do it all over again. Only this time, she wants a bit longer free fall ride!
