NEW LONDON, MN (July 15, 2009) – No members of the Evangelical Covenant Church of New London were injured when a tornado swept through the area Tuesday, but the storm did cause

Cole said a large tree fell within inches of her house, and portions of a neighbor’s roof landed within an inch of her daughter Melissa’s car (accompanying photo). Melissa is in Knoxville, Kentucky, attending CHIC 2009.
The tornado struck around 4:40 p.m.
