Approximately 225 people from the church and community turned out for the festivities that included carnival games, a bounce house, food, music, and worship.
Even people who did not attend benefited from the celebration. “At the end of the day, when we had a few pans of food left over, some was brought to the Marie Sandvik Center, where they feed the homeless on Sunday nights,” explained John Foley, pastor of Living Stones.
The food was needed. “When the food was brought in, they told us that their chef had just called in sick,” Foley said.
