Pearsall was born in Long Island, New York. He married Deane Collins on July 20, 1949.
Pearsall earned his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Seminary and transferred his ordination to the Covenant. He served pastorates in Everett, Massachusetts; Liverpool, New York; and Brooklyn, New York.
Following retirement in 1987, Pearsall served as interim pastor at Bethesda Covenant Church in Manhattan, which conducted worship services in the interfaith chapel at the United Nations Church Center. He also served as interim pastor at New Rochelle Covenant Church in New Rochelle, New York.
Survivors include his wife and three daughters: Robin Fontana, Beth Maroney, and Kristin Pearsall. He was preceded in death by three children: Denice, Scott, and Kent.
