VILLA PARK, IL (August 21, 2007) – The Evangelical Covenant Church of Villa Park, Illinois, will celebrate its 50th anniversary the weekend of September 8-9.
The festivities will begin Saturday, September 8, with an 11:30 a.m. luncheon at the Diplomat West banquet hall in Elmhurst. Peter Sjoblom, director of church revitalization for the Central Conference, will preach during the 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday. A luncheon will follow at 11:45 a.m. in the church.
