NEW YORK, NY (October 17, 2006) – The importance of Evangelical Covenant Church Pastor G. Timothy Johnson in the personal lives of the staff at ABC News is the subject of an Associated Press article this morning.
Johnson is the network’s medical editor, providing commentary on 20/20, World News, Nightline, and Good Morning America. He also is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Covenant Church. He attended North Park College when it was a two-year institution, as well as North Park Theological Seminary. He serves on the staff at Community Covenant Church in West Peabody, Massachusetts.

Johnson recently performed the wedding for the daughter of news anchor Charles Gibson and his wife, but also has provided medical expertise to the staff. He served as a go-between for late news anchor Peter Jennings and network executives.
