SPRING VALLEY, CA (September 25, 2006) – Services are pending for retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Elmer Ost who died Sunday evening.
Ost and his wife, Ruth, have resided at Mount Miguel Covenant Village for a number of years, according to Chaplain Carl Ramgren. Ost and his wife had been married for nearly 63 years at the time of his death.

“I know he was a professor at North Park College (now university) when I
was a student there from 1958 to 1963 as I went through North Park
College and North Park Theological Seminary,” Ramgren said.
A memorial service will likely take place within the next two weeks, the chaplain said. More details will be posted to this online Covenant news report as they become available.
