LAMU ISLAND, KENYA (September 7, 2006) – There is a beauty and grace that abounds in areas of Kenya, including fairly remote areas not far from where five pastors were licensed in August by the Evangelical Covenant Church of Kenya. Our thanks to Pete Ekstrand for these captivating glimpses of life in Lamu Town on Lamu Island. Ekstrand is regional coordinator for Africa for the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
