HOOPER BAY, AK (August 9, 2006) – The tough task of rebuilding faces residents following the devastating fire last week that gutted this remote Alaskan village. Following are images taken as the blazing inferno wreaked havoc, destroying the elementary and high schools, at least one business, and more than a dozen homes.
