As many of you know, we were consecrated in Detroit on June 22, 2017\u00a0as New Missionaries with Serve Globally (a mission priority of the Evangelical Covenant Church). \u00a0As we take the next steps, we’ll be keeping you updated on some exciting things, like a Blog –\u00a0blogs.covchurch.org\/nahnychuk<\/a>!
\nOver the past month we’ve become ‘frequent flyers’, travelling to exotic places like Chicago – Home of the ECC and where we had two intense weeks of missionary training, Detroit – For Gather ’17, Sarnia – Lighthouse Community\u00a0Church, Toronto – where we met Sam Williams of Avenue Community Church and Philips Nethagani of Brampton Abundant Life Covenant\u00a0Church, then back to Chicago – for some ‘Epic’ training.<\/p>\n

We are excited to learn that IPEA (Iglesia Pacto Evangelical Argentina) which consists of 6 Covenant Churches, is going through the Vitality Pathway. \u00a0We will be doing additional training in Chicago and continuing in Argentina in order to serve alongside the Argentinian Conference.<\/p>\n

\nWhat’s Up Right Now …..<\/h4>\n

July 9th – Max is speaking at Nelson Covenant Church
\nJuly 10th – We will be spending the day with kids at KCBC
\nJuly\/August – We will be travelling around the middle three provinces of Canada to visit\u00a0Covenant Churches.<\/p>\n

While we are happy to talk about our\u00a0Mission to Argentina, we want to learn about their mission priorities and how we can develop a stronger partnership. \u00a0We love to share what the ECCC and Merge is doing.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget – Merge has a Seeds trip to Bariloche, Argentina Oct 21-30th!<\/p>\n

A bigger garage sale is in the near future – it changes things a bit when you’re moving to another country. \u00a0It’s a whole new level of downsizing!<\/p>\n

Next Steps ….<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As we prepare to move to Argentina for two years we will be:
\nDownsizing and storing a few of our personal items – yes, that includes the KLRs \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Continuing with Language Studies here in Canada and then heading to Guatemala for much more intensive studies<\/p>\n

Visas – Praise item! \u00a0Nothing more to do until we get to Argentina<\/p>\n

Fundraising – We are in the process of looking for people and churches who would like to partner and support us in the mission field. \u00a0 We are required to raise in funds and pledges, 80% of our budget.<\/p>\n

Prayer for these items is definitely appreciated.<\/p>\n
