2021 – a very full, interesting and exciting year. \u00a0I have my own home now in Bariloche, Argentina and look forward to hosting those of you who come to visit and experience the ministry, culture and life here! \u00a0I am patiently waiting for my shipment of items from Canada and am in the final stages of the visa and DNI (national document identification).<\/p>\n

While I have had essentially almost 18 months of winter straight (with a small amount of fall and recently spring), the winter here this year was extremely mild, \u00a0Almost no snow. \u00a0We are already having water outages and the fire bans started about a month ago. \u00a0No asado on the beaches!!!!! \u00a0That doesn’t stop of in our own yards though. \u00a0I am thankful for warm weather finally even though I know the forest fire risk. \u00a0We have had some huge wind storms that took off roofs and siding (including the roof of a church and the Pastor’s home), downed trees, power and water outages. \u00a0I have been cared for in amazing ways; from not a single tree in my yard came down (only branches), nothing hitting my home or vehicle (when all around there were), to members of the church calling and coming out to see if things were ok. \u00a0I life about 10 minutes away from the church and the neighbourhoods of the families of the churches.<\/p>\n

God has continued to provide guidance, clarity, care and protection this year. \u00a0My home church this time is Congregation Nissi; the other Covenant church in Bariloche. \u00a0The Annual Meeting – Asamblea – is happening this weekend and I will be formally presented. \u00a0Although I already know and have worked with the Covenant Churches here; there are a few new churches joining the covenant. \u00a0This will ‘officially’ launch ministry work of God’s Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The past months have been an amazingly blessed time of deepening existing relationships, making new relationships, and all of us learning more about ministry needs and how I can serve. \u00a0It is always exciting to have BLESS, the Covenant Affirmations and Identity taught. \u00a0Helping several youth and younger students with their English. \u00a0And of course, lattes and English, lattes and conversations; are a constant ministry. \u00a0The ministry of being present; allowing Christ to teach through my life – about faith, about trust, about surrender, about obedience, about serving unconditionally, is a ministry that really is life itself. \u00a0Ministry and Life can’t be separated. \u00a0They are one.<\/p>\n

Personally I have continued with Spanish studies, biblical studies for my own spiritual growth, and of course applying so much that I have learned over the past year. \u00a0God continues to transform my life, myself, and I continue to submit to HIS will.<\/p>\n

There is so much to share, so I am going to send out a few emails this month. \u00a0I want you to experience life and ministry here. \u00a0The church and the congregation that I am a part of.<\/p>\n

May we continue to\u00a0experience the hope and peace that He has for us. \u00a0This hope and peace that we can’t fully explain. \u00a0I know I can’t explain this peace I have in my heart now; but I know it’s there and I know God’s call on my life. \u00a0His call to serve Him.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I will forever\u00a0be thankful and grateful\u00a0for each and everyone of you. \u00a0For your prayers, your support, your friendship and your presence in my life.<\/p>\n

I am thankful and grateful for my family in Argentina . \u00a0For their friendship, unconditional love, support and encouragement.<\/p>\n

Praise and gratefulness for the ECCC and the ECC – it is exciting, wonderful and I am humbled to be a part of this family – to be a Canadian Covenant Missionary! I am proud to be an ambassador for Christ with the Covenant! \u00a0I am thankful for God’s timing and working in all the details of my life.<\/p>\n

Prayer and Praise requests include:<\/p>\n

– Prayers for the Asamblea and the integration of new churches.<\/p>\n

– Prayers for unity and community amongst the covenant churches.<\/p>\n

– Prayers for my ministry here – for God’s continued guidance<\/p>\n

– Prayers for additional committed financial partners In God’s Kingdom<\/p>\n

– For extra strength on the hard days, refilling and rest to be more effective in ministry, to be a blessing to others.<\/p>\n

– Prayers for Argentina as they face\u00a0economic issues, and for the churches as they respond. \u00a0Especially during this continued pandemic\u00a0of COVID.<\/p>\n

– Praise for the ministry that has continued and new ministry that has already begun!<\/p>\n

– Praise and Prayers for the Hope and Waiting in all areas – Esperar – the same verb in Spanish for both words.<\/p>\n

– Praise for the funding that has been generously provided – Thank you all!<\/p>\n
