These last two months have been filled with blessings, frustrations, joy and sorrow.\u00a0 In other words – they have been filled with life.<\/p>\n

Our family together for Christmas – one of our great joys of this season.<\/p><\/div>\n

Today finds me sitting on a bed a bedroom of dear friends in the Chicago area.\u00a0 The world outside is cold with occasional snow flurries.\u00a0 Tomorrow I fly to California where there are winds a warnings of fire danger.\u00a0 Even in this, my life is made up of contrasts.<\/p>\n

Last week was the Midwinter conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church through whom we serve as missionaries in Cameroon.\u00a0 Those days were precious as we renewed friendships, made new ones, worshiped and fellow-shipped together with others in our denomination.<\/p>\n

Former pastor and wife of our sending church. What joy to see so many we have known.<\/p><\/div>\n

I am thankful that the colds\/flu did not hit us until it was over so we could enjoy the time. Now it is time to start with renewed vigor to use well the remaining days of this home assignment.\u00a0 We are eager to make connections and offer opportunities for you to partner with us in ministry.\u00a0 We hope to return to Cameroon in July, but before that we need to engage with new partners.\u00a0 If you are interested in exploring partnership with us please contact me at carolyn.stoker@covchurch.org<\/a> and we can talk.<\/p>\n
