&#8230;. let me show you around!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #333399\">We have been back in Cameroon for the last four months.\u00a0 The time has flown by and one of the activities I chose to sacrifice to maintain sanity was this blog.\u00a0 However with the return of the Noren family last month, and the subsequent easing of my teaching load, it is now possible for a return for the Stoker Stories blog.\u00a0 And there are a few stories to tell.\u00a0 But first let me show you around our new home.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333399\">When we left Cameroon our apartment was just being finished &#8211; well everything but a kitchen and bathroom.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1207\" style=\"width: 772px\" class=\"wp-caption id=\"caption-attachment-1212\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">BBQ time outside our screened porch.<\/p><\/div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333399\">Since then a few new items have been added &#8211; like curtains (that match) in the living areas, shelves and another cupboard in the kitchen and planters along the front.\u00a0 We have also added grass, which is filling in better than expected due to our long wet rainy season, and stepping stones to our screened in porch.\u00a0 A front porch and planters now make the front door look like it is one, although in rainy season we are using the porch entrance to control mud.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/76\/2013\/11\/DSCF3905.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1202\"
