Hello friends! This week’s picture has a lot of history behind it. This past weekend Katie and the boys traveled to Ellsworth, WI to visit a supporting church, while Julio was visiting another in Kirkwood, MO. In order to help with the boys, Katie enlisted the help of her friend, Emma. Now this is where the story gets good. Emma was just a baby when Katie first met her and became one of her baby sitters. Fast forward 18 years and Emma is now a graduating senior getting ready to go to college to study global health. She speaks Spanish and had her first experience in Latin America this year. And now, she’s babysitting the Isaza boys 🙂 Watching kids grow up is such a gift. I’m so thankful for the ways God allows us to be a part of each others’ journeys.
