La Gaceta – interview

Last month we were interviewed by Manuela Ball-Camurdan, one of the writers and editors of the newspaper, La Gaceta.  In 2012, La Gaceta turned 90 years, making it the oldest family-owned, minority-owned and minority-targeted newspaper in the United States according to its website.

La Gaceta is a tri-lingual (English, Spanish and Italian) weekly newspaper. It has between 18,000 and 20,000 subscribers. It is the main Latino newspaper in Tampa Bay.

Manuela asked us questions about Japan, the Latin community in Asia, our professional, personal experiences and beliefs, family, Sophia and our project in Japan.
