Welcome to Our Life & Mission in Japan!

Johnna and I created this space in order to let you know the reasons why we moved to Japan in July 2015.

We are Covenant Missionaries serving with Serve Globally (formally Covenant World Mission) in Fujisawa, Japan. Our mission is to live out and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as cultural bridge builders to those who may not otherwise experience Jesus, those who have a false and negative view of Jesus, and those who may need help separating a relationship with Christ from religiosity. We do this through language conversation classes, training on evangelism, outreach and cross-cultural living, and music ministry.

We want to share with all of you some of our personal experiences, background, history, when and why we were called to move to Japan, how Japan has been part of our lives, our prayer requests, cultural experiences, our projects, etc.

We also try to keep the blog updated on a regular basis.

Along this new path and journey, besides our regular newsletters, we want to take this blog and use it as an instrument and tool to communicate with everyone who is interested in partnering with us.

We thank God for this amazing and unique opportunity. We thank God for innumerous signs of confirmation and His grace putting us together as a couple and family. Thank you to our families, Covenant World Mission and friends for trusting us. We love you all!
