{"id":258,"date":"2009-08-26T20:35:46","date_gmt":"2009-08-27T01:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/?p=258"},"modified":"2009-08-26T20:35:46","modified_gmt":"2009-08-27T01:35:46","slug":"sr-hi-at-lake-beauty-bible-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/2009\/08\/sr-hi-at-lake-beauty-bible-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Sr Hi at Lake Beauty Bible Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aug 3-8 Cindy and I were missionaries during Sr High camp at Lake Beauty Bible Camp in Long Prairie, MN.\u00a0 Let me tell you, there is a disconnect between us and the Sr Hi schedule.\u00a0 Breakfast not until 9 and ligh<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-259\" title=\"crossing-the-high-wire-close\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2009\/08\/crossing-the-high-wire-close-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"crossing-the-high-wire-close\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>ts out at midnight with some sneak outs after that are not our schedule.\u00a0 Whatever, we were able to connect with campers and staff and we did have numerous good conversations, better and better as the week went on.<\/p>\n<p>I did something new and attempted the high ropes course.\u00a0 It was fun, but a bit daunting.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t particularly like heights, but up went.\u00a0 I got around on the high wire, the rope ladder, the pole, and the wood ladder.\u00a0 I <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-260\" title=\"campout-guys-4\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2009\/08\/campout-guys-4-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"campout-guys-4\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>couldn&#8217;t make it on the swing to rings to rope with plate.<\/p>\n<p>We each went on the camp outs with the kids.\u00a0 That was fun, but a bit cool.\u00a0 As you can see from the photo there was a good bit of fog in the mornings.\u00a0 Beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>Of course camp is where the staff and campers do crazy and different things including a long slip &amp;
