He spoke French better than English so I used the French name, mamellon.  To make sure he understood I also described what I was looking for.  No, he didn\u2019t have it, but he said that he could have some cut and threaded for me.  Ok, that will work.  I returned to Gemena and waited.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1328\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2011\/06\/2011-06-08-steel-nipple.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1328\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1328\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2011\/06\/2011-06-08-steel-nipple.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2011\/06\/2011-06-08-steel-nipple.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2011\/06\/2011-06-08-steel-nipple-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1328\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">1 in. Galvanized Steel Nipple <\/p><\/div>\n<p>Several times since then I\u2019ve talked to Pastor Danu in Kinshasa who was following up on the order for me and each time was told that they were working on it.  Then recently I requested a \u00be\u201d close nipple.  I knew they had these because I had seen them in the store in a box on the floor.  Pastor Danu didn\u2019t really understand what I wanted so I talked to Arthur when Danu was there.  I described what I wanted and at first he said he didn\u2019t have it.  Then I described where I had seen them and he responded, \u201cOh, you mean \u2018neeple\u2019?\u201d  Yes.  \u201cNeeple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now if I had only put a French pronunciation to the English word the first time around I would have had my neeples weeks ago.
