{"id":3374,"date":"2014-11-06T23:28:45","date_gmt":"2014-11-07T03:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=3374"},"modified":"2014-11-06T23:28:45","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T03:28:45","slug":"the-past-week-in-pictures-maybe-a-few-words-too","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=3374","title":{"rendered":"The past week in pictures&#8230;maybe a few words too!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past week, Esther and I (Kim) went up to Cayambe to observe and help as we could with a Medical\/Dental team from Florida. \u00a0This team has been coming to Cayambe for many years so we were excited to see how they did things and take some notes. \u00a0The members of the team were very kind and for some it was their first visit to Ecuador! \u00a0Around 590 patients were seen during the 5 day trip. \u00a0For me, it was SO exciting to see the clinic open and helping those in the community of Juan Montalvo which is the vision and mission of the clinic. \u00a0It was a privilege to be able to serve next to great doctors and nurses and to see the heart to help those in need. \u00a0Additionally for me it was wonderful to create deeper relationships with those at the Compassion center at Iglesia Imanuel as well as parents and other family members of the kids. \u00a0It was truly a blessing and I am grateful for the opportunity we had to go. \u00a0Here are some pictures from the week!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3379\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/11\/DSC_1318.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3379\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3379\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/11\/DSC_1318-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"My new friend showed me how to carry Esther on my back just like she carries her daughter.
