in our process of seeking ordination (Joel) and consecration (Kim). \u00a0We will need to still be voted on by the assembly of the Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church in June and as long as that goes successfully, we will be Commissioned as Long-term Missionaries, Kim will be licensed as a\u00a0Consecrated\u00a0Missionary and Joel will be ordained. \u00a0So you can start calling him &#8220;Reverend&#8221; after that!<\/p>\n<p>These are our final interviews in a long process. \u00a0If you remember, we had two interviews right after we returned from Ecuador in October (see <a title=\"1 Down\u2026\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=2053\">1 Down&#8230;<\/a>\u00a0and <a title=\"What we\u2019ve been up too\u2026\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=2058\">What we&#8217;ve been up to&#8230;<\/a>\u00a0to refresh your \u00a0memory). \u00a0We also had a three day psychological evaluation as well as we had to write numerous very long papers about our theology and such. \u00a0Well, the interviews on Friday are the last &#8220;test&#8221; so to speak as the Annual Meeting vote is more of a formality.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the 15th, we will be interviewed individually once again at the Evangelical Covenant Church offices in Chicago. \u00a0Kim&#8217;s interview is 8:30 a.m. CST and Joel&#8217;s is at 2:00 p.m. CST. \u00a0Your prayers for these interviews and at these times specifically are greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated!!! \u00a0We&#8217;ve felt that it has been by the grace of God that we have gotten this far so we just need a little more grace to push us through!!!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-report-this\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp?moderation_action=report_form&object_type=post&object_id=2304&width=250&height=300\" class=\"thickbox\" title=\"Report This Post\">Report This Post<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to share a Special Prayer Request. \u00a0This Friday, March 15th, Kim and I will be having our Final Interviews in the process of being commissioned as Long-term Missionaries. \u00a0These interviews are the final &#8220;test&#8221;
