No Compromise<\/p>\n

ESTHER<\/p>\n

Esther 2:7 <\/strong>And Mordecai<\/em> had brought up Hadassah, that is,<\/em> Esther, his uncle\u2019s daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. The young woman was<\/em> lovely and beautiful. When her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter.8\u00a0<\/strong>So it was, when the king\u2019s command and decree were heard, and when many young women were gathered at Shushan the citadel, under<\/em> the custody of Hegai, that Esther also was taken to the king\u2019s palace, into the care of Hegai the custodian of the women. 9\u00a0<\/strong>Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained his favor; so he readily gave beauty preparations to her, besides her allowance. Then seven choice maidservants were provided for her from the king\u2019s palace, and he moved her and her maidservants to the best place<\/em> in the house of the women.10\u00a0<\/strong>Esther had not revealed her people or family, for Mordecai had charged her not to reveal it.<\/em> 11\u00a0<\/strong>And every day Mordecai paced in front of the court of the women\u2019s quarters, to learn of Esther\u2019s welfare and what was happening to her.12\u00a0<\/strong>Each young woman\u2019s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months\u2019 preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women. 13\u00a0<\/strong>Thus prepared, each<\/em> young woman went to the king, and she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the women\u2019s quarters to the king\u2019s palace. 14\u00a0<\/strong>In the evening she went, and in the morning she returned to the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king\u2019s eunuch who kept the concubines. She would not go in to the king again unless the king delighted in her and called for her by name.15\u00a0<\/strong>Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king\u2019s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her. 16\u00a0<\/strong>So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is<\/em> the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. 17\u00a0<\/strong>The king loved Esther more than all the other<\/em> women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. 18\u00a0<\/strong>Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther, for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king.<\/p>\n

FOUR STEPS TO NO COMPROMISE<\/p>\n

  1. Proverbs 1:5\u00a0 A wise man will hear and increase in learning and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel.<\/li>\n

    1. Know what you believe.\u00a0 How can we share if we don\u2019t know what we are talking about.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    2. Don\u2019t Fall Asleep.\u00a0 (Ephesians Chapters 4, 5 and 6)<\/li>\n
        \n
      1. Others should see a difference in you.\u00a0 (Eph. 4:22 Put off your old self and be made new.)\u00a0 What do you deeds say about you?\u00a0 Are you truthful, wholesome, not involved in course joking, are you kind, compassionate and forgiving?<\/li>\n
      2. Sometimes it is not what is said but what is NOT SAID.<\/li>\n
      3. A gentle answer turns away wrath but harsh words stir up anger.\u00a0 (Prov. 15:1)<\/li>\n
      4. How do you react when the subject of homosexuality or abortion come up.\u00a0 Do you know what the bible says.\u00a0 Disagreement doesn\u2019t mean hate.\u00a0 Can you show love and learning in these situations?<\/li>\n
      5. Division will happen.\u00a0 (Matt 7:24)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Fasting and timing!\u00a0 (Esther 4:3 and 4:16)<\/li>\n
        2. Then speak up.\u00a0 (Matthew 10:32-39)<\/li>\n
            \n
          1. Esther could have died when she spoke up.\u00a0 Are you willing to die for your faith?\u00a0 Christianity is under attach.\u00a0 Speak up!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n
