2012 is coming to an end but 2013 is just beginning.
Everything Has Its Time (Ecc 3)
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
I don’t know what season you are in right now but know that God is not surprised by your season. The new season for the DeCastro family involves moving to Owasso, Oklahoma. Rudel’s work has transferred him back to the place where Kelsey and Riley were born. We are sad to see Chicago go…we have loved it here, however, many people we love are waiting with open arms for us in Tulsa! Riley has found an excellent school that offers the gifted program he needs and both Riley and Kelsey have signed on with one of the best soccer clubs in Oklahoma. Our lodging is not very exciting at this point. We will be in a two bedroom furnished apartment for at least three months. Riley and Kelsey aren’t really looking forward to being roomates but as the scripture above says…it is only for a season. Thank you for your prayers during this transition.

MERGE USA update:
MERGE USA has taken off! We are getting weekly communications of churches looking for partnerships in the United States! We have added 4 new locations since the last newslestter as well as at least 3 more perspective locations. We currently have 4 groups committed to trips as well as 2 new Trip Facilitators! This February are hosting MERGE USA training in LA as well as Mid-Winter our annual denomination conference in San Diego. MERGE USA is growing like crazy which is awesome! Keep our trip facilitators in prayer as many of them are hosting teams for the first time. Time and organization are easy to talk about but not always easy to implement. I am excited about 2013 and love being a part of this ministry! It is simply amazing!
